Our mission

Bring lost dogs home, and keep them from getting lost in the first place.

Most lost dogs come home faster when the person who finds them can see a name and phone number right away. A simple engraved tag is one of the best tools there is, so we make sure every dog owner can get one for free.

When a dog does go missing, we don't stop at the tag. Our volunteers help owners search, spread the word, and reach shelters, so more dogs end up back where they belong.

How it works

From our workbench to your dog's neck

Four simple steps, and you never pay a cent.

  1. A teal nylon collar with a polished round brass ID tag on a wooden surface.
    1

    You request a collar

Tell us your dog's name, your phone number, and their neck size. It takes about two minutes.

  2. A laser engraver etching a brass dog tag in a small workshop, with teal collars on the bench.
    2

    We engrave it

Our volunteers laser-engrave your details onto a durable brass tag that won't fade or rub off.

  3. Volunteers packing teal collars into kraft mailer envelopes with handwritten cards.
    3

    We ship it free

Each collar is packed by hand and mailed straight to your door, with a little note from the team.

  4. Three volunteers in teal shirts searching a neighborhood at dusk for a lost dog.
    4

    We help if they're lost

If your dog ever goes missing, report it to us and our search volunteers will help you look.

Lost a dog?

Act fast. We'll help you search.

The first hours matter most. Send us a report, and while you wait, start on these steps:

  1. Search right away close to where your dog was last seen. Walk slowly, call calmly, and bring treats.
  2. Leave a scent item outside your home, like a worn shirt or their bed, plus fresh water.
  3. Call nearby shelters and animal control and visit in person if you can.
  4. Post in local groups and neighborhood apps with a clear, recent photo.
  5. Check that your microchip contact details are up to date with the registry.
